Why I am running

• SERVE THE COMMUNITY - I am running because I want to serve the community. I believe that school board members play a vital role in promoting and improving educational programs in a community.

 

• GREAT SCHOOLS FOR ALL - I want all children to receive a quality education that prepares them for success. I want my daughter to attend great schools with passionate teachers that inspire her. Layla is starting 4 year-old kindergarten next year. She has 13 years of education in front of her, and I hope to play a role in ensuring that she receives a quality education.

 

• EXPERIENCED CANDIDATE - I would not run if I didn’t think I could do the job well. If elected, I will draw upon my experiences as a school psychologist and administrator to successfully serve Columbus schools.
